In part 2 of this lesson I by the will of Yahawah via Yahawashi the princ, correct an error I made in the previous lesson and continue my critique of brother Chaazawan's Lunar Sabbath video. Have a gander if you'd like to learn more about the sabbath. Part 3 will be coming this weekend Yah willing. Shalam to my people and sincere strangers and destruction to God's enemies by his hand. Jeremiah 30:16-17 KJV
STUDY NOTES
CORRECTION
- Sabbath Day’s Journey
- The sabbath day’s journey was a short one so the 22nd could not have been a sabbath as I suggested in part 1.
- It doesn’t change the fact that Israel’s journey ended on the 22nd at even though.
- Sabbath Day’s journey calculation
- 2 Kings 4:8, 20-25
- One says 52.6 km and the other says 30 km in a straight line. If we average that out we get 41.3km
- If we divide that by donkey speed at 24.1km/hr it shows that a sabbath day journey could be as long as 1hr and 43 minutes
THE NEW MOON IS NOT A SPECIAL DAY TYPE - Chaaz
Critique: Yes it is
Ez 46:1 the new moon is the only other day other than sabbaths & feasts that the worship gate is open all day.
- It can also be opened to the king for a free will offering but must be shut immediately re Ezekiel 46:12
- Q. What does this show?
- A. There is parity between the sabbath and the new moon. Let’s prove that.
- Ezra 3:5 New moon is mentioned among set feasts of Yahawah
- Ezekiel 45:17 & 1 Esdras 5:52 back that up
Isaiah 66:23 We shall worship before Yah on the New Moon and Sabbath. What are these meetings called?
- Lev 23 Holy convocations
- Q. On all holy convocations there are servile work restrictions. So if we are coming to worship before Yahawah on the New Moon and Sabbath can we work on those days?
- A. ___________________________
- Which is why Amos 8:5 says what it says
TRUMPETS IS ONLY NO WORK NEW MOON - Chaaz
- Chaazawan said that the Israelites were complaining about the one new moon per year that they could not sell their wares, however, if we read the quoted verse in context we see what’s happening in Amos 8:1-5, 2 Kings 4:8-23
