Deuteronomy Decolonized: Chapter 23 Verse 7 - Part 2

So What Happened in Deut 23:7?

  • Three precepts show
  1. 2 Sam 8:1-16
  1. 1-3 David slew Moab and made them servants
  2. 4-6 David slew Syrians, made them servants and set up garrisons in Syria
  3. 16 Joab was over the army
  4. 13-14 David slew Syrians again. This time 18000 in the valley of salt and put garrisons in Edom after slaying the Syrians?
  • Q. Why is the writer telling us that right after slaying the Syrians in Edomite lands David sets up garrisons in Edom?
  • Q. Where were the Edomites when all this was happening in their lands?
  • Q. I thought the Syrians were already subdued in verses 4-6
  1. The answer to these questions is in the following scriptures
  1. Compare 2 Sam 8:12 and 1 Chron 18:11
  • Q. What do you notice?[1]

Q. Why was this mistake or deception made?

  • Because Edom Aram look very similar in modern hebrew

Q. So which account is correctly rendered?

  • Psalm 60:1 & 1 Kings 11:14-17 & 21 hold the key
  1. Psalm 60:1 eighteen thousand were killed in Edom not in Syria as is written in 1 Chron 18:12-13 that’s two witnesses saying the killing occurred in Edom not Syria
  1. The body count translation says 12 here but the scribe meant 20,000 as evidenced by the fact that the same word can be translated as twenty. See entry 8147
  • The scribe may have rounded the number up in his estimation or just given us a more accurate count we can’t say for sure. We know, however, that the 12,000 translation is incorrect by comparing the precepts.
  1. 1 Kings 11:14-17 & 21 Joab & David were in Edom for six month slaying all the males
  1. This is the same subjugation we read about in 2 Sam & 1 Chron evidenced by the fact that there are no other slaughters with these similar details mentioned in the scriptures and the fact that verse 21 states Hadad waited till David & Joab were dead to return to Edom.

He would have waited because of the slaughter campaign that David was on in Edom.
  • Noticeably the scholars agree (this doesn’t substantiate the claim but rather just shows that the evidence is undeniable)[2]
  1. 2 Kings 14:1-3 & 7 Amaziah also slew Edomites in the valley of salt
  1. The Valley of Salt Location
  • Q. So which rendering is correct? Were the Syrians killed in the valley of salt to the tune of 18000 or were the Edomites?[3]

Conclusion

Q. So what happened in Deuteronomy 23:7?

  1. Deut 23:7 is a repetition of the same error we saw made in 2 Sam 8:13 except that instead of writing Syrian where it should say Edom, they’ve written Edom where it should say Syrian.

And that’s the real gospel! HalleluYah via Yahawashi the prince!

Is God Deceiving Negroes Part 2

Part 1 Review

  • Yah deceives men
  • Yah deceives negroes with strong delusions
  • Keep yourself from idols ie. putting other things before Yahawah
  • How to perhaps know if Yah is deceiving you ie. by examining and judging yourself before Yah judges you

Why God Deceives Negroes!

  • Ezekiel 3:4-11 because negroes are stubborn and rebellious against their God!
  • Ezekiel 2:1-7
  • Ezekiel 14:1-6, 7-11 Idolatry
  • 1 Sam 15:23 Idolatry’s subtle expression
  • Sirach 15:13-17 because the negro chooses to be deceived
  • James 4:4 friendship with the world is choosing to be deceived
  • Matt 4:8-11 possessions are their God
  • Matt 6:31-34 what you should do instead of lusting after possessions

How to Avoid Being Deceived!

  • Psalm 23 Hold Yahawah as your shepherd through his holy teachers and scriptures not religion
  • Romans 10:1-3 the righteousness of man that you ought to avoid
  • Rev 19:6-8 Keep your garments clean and white!
  • James 1:22-27 Your garments can be kept clean and white by doing the words of Yahawah not just hearing them

CONCLUSION

Yahawah deceives mankind at his pleasure. He specifically deceives those who worship things other than him. That worship is subtle and we need to be careful not to fall victim by doing the things Yah has prescribed instead of just knowing them.

Yahawah deceives negroes specifically with strong delusions, therefore do not fight and fuss with negroes who do not believe the gospel.

If we examine ourselves and do righteousness we can avoid being deceived but if we continually commit abominations before Yahawah, we shall surely die.

So is Yahawah deceiving you at this moment? I certainly hope not.

Is God Deceiving Negroes?

God Deceives Men

  • Isaiah 45:7 Yah does all good and evil
  • Obadiah 1:8 Yah destroys the wise from Edom

God Deceives Negroes

  • Isaiah 66:4 I will choose their delusions
  • 2 Thess 2:8-12 the strong delusion
  • Ezekiel 14:7-9 Yah deceives ppl and prophets

Is God Deceiving You?

  • 1 Cor 11:28-32 Judge yourself
  • 2 Cor 13:5 examine yourself
  • John 14:15 The standard by which self examination is actually done
  • 1 John 3:4-11 If you are sinning he certainly is! Examine yourself and see whether you are sinning against Yah or not, that is, whether or not you’re transgressing the commandments with sins that lead to death.
  • 1 John 5:16-21 sins unto death and not unto death
  • This scripture shows that we will certainly make mistakes but some of these do not lead to death. Those that lead to death you must be especially aware of an example of which is idolatry ie. putting other things or people above Yah in your life.

Black Health Decolonized Part 4

Part 3 Review

  • Exercise is profitable
  • How to avoid being sick all the time
  • Embrace physical work
  • Good health is above all gold

MEDICINE

Sirach 38:4 where holy medicine comes from

2 Kings 20:1-7 the prayer and the figs

Jer 8:21-22 the balm[4],[5] of Gilead

Tobit 6:1-5, 11:7-13 a fish parts used as medicine and more

  • I believe this fish to be the mangar
  • See aggressive fish in the tigris here
  • See pike barbel here
  • Learn more about this fish here

CONCLUSION

Medicine comes from the earth. The animals, the fish, the herbs and the birds as well evidenced by the fact that we can eat them.

In addition to exercise, medicine, diet and mindset, there are many other facets of health that Yahawah has revealed to us in the bible. He has revealed how to deal with hygiene, disease detection, contagions and injuries.

You can search the bible to find these instructions or if you guys are interested I can continue this series and look at a few more of these things.

The point is though, despite all the so-called technological advancements of our time, if we want to get and maintain good health there is no better solution than to use the methods of the Creator of all things.

HalleluYah!
