Middle Elamite is considered the “classical” period of Elamite. The best-attested variety is Achaemenid Elamite,[10] which was widely used by the Achaemenid [ie. the PERSIAN] Empire for official inscriptions as well as administrative records and displays significant Old Persian influence.^[16],^[17]

Q. Why is the persian empire using Elamite language in all their official inscriptions and government records? Why does Achaemenid Elamite have Old Persian influence?

• A. Because Persians are Elamites

• Consider this. When Edomites conquered and colonized various nations did they begin to use those nations' languages in their official and government documents?
  
  No, they enforced Greek in the Hellenistic Period and the Latin languages in the middle ages upon the locals. They did the same when they colonized the world. That’s why all their so-called independent colonies speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, French & Dutch even now. This exact thing happened with the “Persians” who conquered Elam, beginning with Anshan.

1. About Anshan
   Anshan fell under Persis Achaemenid rule [ie People from the geographical area called Persis who were from the family of Achaemenes] in the 7th century BC, having been captured by Teispes (675–640 BC), who was an ancestor of Cyrus the Great and styled himself "the great king, king of Anshan".[9] For another century during the period of Elamite decline, Anshan was a minor kingdom, until the Achaemenids in the 6th century BC embarked on a series of conquests from Anshan, which became the nucleus of the Persian Empire. The most famous conqueror who rose from Anshan was Cyrus the Great.
   
   Evidence of the connection to the Achaemenid Empire can be linked through writings on the Cyrus Cylinder which trace the lineage of Cyrus the Great. Cyrus is referred to as the "king of the city of Anshan" and his ancestors as "the great king, king of the city of Anshan"^[18]

2. Cyrus called himself the king of Anshan
3. And Anshan was the center or nuclear of the “Persian Empire”

Who are the Persians?

1. The Persians are Achaemenian people!
   “The Achaemenid Empire or Achaemenian Empire,[17] also known as the Persian Empire[17] or First Persian Empire[18] (/əˈkiːmənɪd/; Old Persian: 𐎧𐏁𐏂, Xšāça, lit. 'The Empire'[19] or 'The Kingdom'[20]), was an Iranian empire founded by Cyrus the Great of the Achaemenid dynasty in 550 BC. Based in modern-day Iran, it was the largest empire by that point in history, spanning a total of 5.5 million square kilometres (2.1 million square miles). The empire spanned from the Balkans and Egypt in the west, most of West Asia, the majority of Central Asia to the northeast, and the Indus Valley of South Asia to the southeast.” ^[11]

Q. Who are Achaemenians?

1. The children of Achaemenes
   “The Achaemenid Empire borrows its name from the ancestor of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the empire, Achaemenes. The term Achaemenid means "of the family of the Achaemenis/Achaemenes" (Old Persian: 𐏃𐎧𐎠𐎶𐎴𐎡𐏁, romanized: Haxāmaniš;[25] a bahuvrihi compound translating to "having a friend's mind").[26] Achaemenes was himself a minor seventh-century ruler of the Anshan in southwestern Iran, and a vassal of Assyria.^[12]”
   

Q. Who is Achaemenes?

2. A man shrouded in mystery for some
   
   In the Behistun inscription (c. 520 BC), Darius I portrays Achaemenes as the father of Teispes, ancestor of Cyrus II (Cyrus the Great) and Darius I.[1] The mid-5th century BC Histories (7.11) of Herodotus has essentially the same story, but fuses two parallel lines of descent from "Teispes son of Achaemenes". Beyond such brief mentions of the name, nothing is known of the figure behind it, neither from indigenous sources nor from historiographic ones.

• Full disclosure a minority of ppl believe that he is a mythical figure but I through biblical lens and scholarly research know he was not

• It may be that Achaemenes was just a mythical ancestor, not a historical one.^[14]
  

3. A person MANY Edomite scholars believe ruled Parsumash (see footnote 9 or 14)
   
   [Many scholars believe he [Achaemenes] was a ruler of Parsumash, a vassal state of the Median Empire, and that from there he led armies against the Assyrian king Sennacherib at the Battle of Halule in 691 BC.
   
4. An Elamite. 

• The historical record has not connected the Persians with the Elamites but the bible sure has

• Daniel 2:26,30-40 & Isaiah 21:1-10 The bible refers to the destroyers of Babylon as a world ruler and Media and Elam whereas the historical record tells us that it was the Persians
• We know the Medes in the prophecy are the Japhites ie Asians so then who is Elam?

1. The only answer we’re left with as we look through the biblical lens is the Persian!
